And so, one of the next Haiku Games projects our team worked on was Adventure Escape: Allied Spies. Our main work was in background game design and icon creation. The project is designed with a “find me game” style in the style of spy movies. You can find something in common with Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”. And all this is flavored with 2D style!
The plot of the mobile game Adventure Escape: Allied Spies tells about the newly married couple, Ed and Marie Hamilton, who are on a daring mission in Occupied France during World War II. Their task is to help two scientists escape from Europe. They meet members of the French Resistance, but things quickly go wrong. The ruthless Major Kressler destroys their network. Who is the traitor? Where are the scientists? What mega-weapon is Major Kressler preparing? Will Ed and Marie manage to spend the night alone together?
When developing characters for this game, our studio tried to keep to the World War II surroundings. The French style of clothing of those years is also remained.
Every project is a new challenge, and with the right synergy, we can create experiences that stand out in the world of gaming and beyond.
